The project supplies customers with a Virtual battery service, which allows them to store surpluses on the grid and, if they need electricity, they can retrieve the surpluses from the grid free of charge.
Each customer has a gateway installed at home that sends real-time generation and consumption data to the cloud. This gives them an up-to-date overview of how much electricity they have produced and consumed.
